Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days Coming to Charlotte & Raleigh This August!

Families across North Carolina, get ready! The whimsical world of Gabby’s Dollhouse is coming to life at two beloved children’s museums this August: Discovery Place Science in Charlotte and Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh.

In partnership with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), these MEOWseum Discovery Days celebrate creativity, curiosity, and purposeful play — bringing one of kids’ favorite shows to life through engaging, hands-on activities.

Meet & Greet Details

Advanced registration is required for all attendees. The meet & greet is free, but general admission must be purchased separately. Guests should bring their own cameras to take photos with Gabby. The meet & greet will take place on the main level of the museum—check signage for exact location. Standby access is limited and not guaranteed without a reservation.

Experience Gabby’s Dollhouse: Activities Leading Up to and On August 24

In the days leading up to the big event, Discovery Place Science will host special Gabby’s Dollhouse-themed activities from August 10 through August 24, 2025. Families can enjoy Gabby’s Scavenger Hunt, where kids follow clues to find Gabby and her friends throughout the museum’s science exhibits. There will also be Gabby’s Dollhouse Storytime, featuring a book reading and fun hands-on activity, and Hamster Kitties Art, where children can design and take home their own playful pet creations.

All of these experiences continue on the event day, August 24, with even more storytimes, dance parties with DJ Catnip, scavenger hunt adventures, and creative crafts inspired by the world of Gabby’s Dollhouse.
